Baked Truffle Mac'n'Cheese
Tis the season for some ooey- gooey goodness! And who doesn't love some deeelicious mac-n-cheese?!

This recipe is easy to make and absolutely delicious!

Prep time: 15-20 minutes
Cook time: 30 minutes (may vary depending on ovens)
Ingredients:
1/2 cup noodles (whatever you want; elbow macaroni, fusilli, etc)
1/4 lb Trader Joe's English Chedder with Truffles, shredded (can add more or less depending how cheesy you want the recipe)
Sprinkles of Mozzarella
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp flour
3/4 cup milk
1/2 cup cream
Salt and pepper
sprinkles of parmesan
1tsp butter
2 tbsp breadcrumbs/ panko
Salt & Pepper
Preheat oven to 350°F
Lightly oil down an oven- safe dish/ dutch oven
Step 1: Boil 1 qt+ water in pot on stovetop (add 2 pinches salt)
Step 2: Add pasta and cook until desired texture 6-7 minutes (al dente = less time, softer noodles= more time) [set aside and let cool]
Step 3: In a large sauce pan melt down butter, medium heat
Step 4: Add flour into pan and mix until golden and thick
Step 5: Add milk and cream into pan and mix for about 2 minutes, add salt and pepper
Step 6: Add 1/2 shredded truffle cheese and mix until creamy, then add the rest of the truffle cheese until sauce is fully incorporated
Step 7: Turn the heat off. Add the noodles to the cheese sauce and mix until all noodles are coated in cheesy goodness.
Step 8: Transfer mac'n'cheese to an oiled, small oven safe dish/ dutch oven and sprinkle mozzarella on top
Step 9: in a small mixing bowl mix together bread crumbs, 1 tsp butter and parmesan
Step 10: Sprinkle bread crumb mixture atop mac
Step 11: Bake in oven for about 25 minutes (Take out once top starts to brown and crisp up)
Step 12: Eat and enjoy! Just be careful, it's hot!!
