Smoothie Time: pomegranate blueberry burst
It's officially October!
But I'm not whipping out the pumpkin juust yet.
I'm mixing up those end of summer vibes with autumnal fever for this yummy and health boosting recipe.

This deliciously dark smoothie is packed with a long list of health benefits and tastes absolutely divine.
Portions: 1 large bowl or two small cauldrons
1 full pomegranate (just the seeds)
1 cup frozen blueberries
1 cup fresh squeezed mandarin juice (may vary)
(optional, but recommended):
1 teaspoon flaxseeds
1 teaspoon chia seeds
1 teaspoon almonds
Garnish:
5-10 frozen blueberries
1 teaspoon pomegranate seeds
1-2 pinch Flaxseeds
Add all dry ingredients in a blender, blueberries at the bottom. Add the juice last. Blend until smooth.
Note: this recipe is intended to be thick enough to enjoy with a spoon. If you would like it thin enough to drink, you can add more juice before blending.
Pour into your favorite bowl or bowls and enjoy!
